Meet Your Coach
Jessica Shotwell Walker is a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach, Dragon Boat Paddling Trainer, and Money Mindfulness Coach based in Peachtree City, GA.
She discovered the Ketogenic Lifestyle over 16 years ago and has used it to recover from Obesity, Type 2 Diabetes, PCOS, and debilitating Plantar Fasciitis. She loves to help her clients reap the benefits of changing their body’s fuel supply from sugar-based to body fat-based. Jessica strongly maintains that optimal health can be easily achieved by buying and cooking real food found at the local grocery store and farmer’s markets. At age 52, she has maintained her 65 pound weight loss and is now the youthful, happy, and energetic amateur athlete she always wanted to be.
Newly certified as a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach, Jessica uses a habit-based and client-centered coaching process to help her clients:
- practice new eating habits,
- troubleshoot their biggest challenges,
- stay consistent, motivated, and accountable, and
- radically improve their nutrition, lifestyle, and health.
Jessica's passion for the sport of paddling Dragon Boats has taken her around the United States and internationally to train and race. She has even competed during the winter in Ice Dragon Boat Festivals! She mostly loves the fact that this sport is the most inclusive and accessible one in the world, and that it warmly welcomes paddlers of all interest levels and abilities. Dragon Boat is an excellent activity for Leadership and Team Building seminars since people of all abilities are able to quickly learn the technique in less than 30 minutes, have fun and appreciate each team member’s contribution, and even get a bit competitive in a supportive environment!
Before its sale after 20 years of operations, Jessica used her MBA as the Controller of her family's software consulting business and has extensive knowledge of accounting software. Her deep knowledge of how to teach others how to set-up, create operating procedures for, and keep the books of small to medium-sized businesses makes the CPAs and CFPs in her clients' lives very happy. Her ability to budget and organize both family and business finances ensures that her clients' mindfulness of their daily expenses and their Overall Mindset Towards Money can result in greater health and a more comfortable financial future.
Jessica continues to be an inspirational role model in the community. She was named Rotarian of the Year 2016-2017 in recognition of outstanding dedication and service to The Rotary Club of Peachtree City…most notably for her role as Race Director and Head Paddling Coach of the annual Rotary Club of Peachtree City Dragon Boat Festival.
